About

Hi, I’m Sina Fathi-Kazerooni. I’m a Lead AI Engineer — I design and train transformers for vision and language classification, multi-agent systems, and diffusion models for synthetic image generation.
Before that I applied machine learning to network security. During my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, I built a secure communication tunnel on a generative adversarial network to improve online privacy, and published on traffic analysis, network steganography, and free-space optical communications — the full list is on the publications page. Later, at Insight Data Science, I built an NLP pipeline that used Bert model to summarize scientific articles and extract their key findings.
This blog is about my personal projects. Most recently that’s Redthread, git-backed memory that lets an AI coding agent keep its context across machines.
